Vivian Jeanette Walker

Vivian Jeanette Walker, 95, of Crossett, passed away, Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Walker was a native of Rison and a resident of Crossett since 1955 and she was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Her family was most important to her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Bertha Hobson Hall; a brother, Herman Hall and three sisters, Inez Watkins, Lois Mercer and Reba Minugh. She is survived by three sons, Homer Walker of Crossett, George Walker of Lake Village and Robert Walker of Greenbrier; three daughters, Patricia Robinson and husband, Sonny, of Crossett, Janice Bland and husband, Jerry, of Lake Village and Shirley Scallion and husband, Mike, of Greenbrier; a sister, Frances Carpenter of Little Rock; six grandchildren, Lara Kilcrease, Nicki Stanley, Kim Robinson all of Crossett, Steven Gilbert of Hamburg, Kara Greiner of Greenbrier and Leslie Joe Mixon of Mountain View; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Magnolia Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Griffith officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroad Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, Ark. 72202. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Thursday at the church.
