Mary Evelyn Blaylock

Mary Evelyn Blaylock, 86, of Mt. Ida passed away peacefully November 15, 2016. Mary was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Samuel and Hazel Oglesby. An avid outdoors lady, Mary enjoyed fishing, hunting and Razorback football games. She will be reunited with her baby girl, Marigayle Blaylock, and her beloved husband, Clyde Blaylock. Cherishing her memory will be her children, Steve (Charlotte) Blaylock and Nicki (Charlie) Jones; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to the Senior Center at 158 Senior Drive, Mt Ida, Arkansas 71957, where Mary enjoyed competitive beanbag baseball as part of the "Go Getters" team or to the Montgomery County Nursing Home at 741 South Drive, Mt. Ida, Arkansas 71957, for a grateful family who are thankful for the kind and caring staff. A funeral service will be held at The Lake Ouachita Baptist Church in Mt. Ida at 10am on Friday, November 18, 2016 with Ty Huitt officiating. A graveside committal will follow at 2 p.m. at Salem Cemetery in East End, Arkansas.
