Gerald Erwin Scott Jr.

Gerald Erwin Scott Jr., age 68, of Alexander passed away Friday November 25, 2016. He was born November 15, 1948 in Benton. Gerald was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Gerald graduated from the Arkansas School For The Blind. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald E. Scott, maternal grandparents, Albert and Freda Grafe, paternal grandmother, Flossie Severn, and nephew, Bobby Brazil. Jerry loved to fish and loved to ride motorcycles when he could find a driver. He managed a coffee shop and snack bar at military recruiting stations and also the Arkansas Crime Lab. Survivors, mother, Meda Scott, Alexander; brother, Dennis D. Scott, sisters, Connie Brewer, Sherry Plain, and Robin Hutchens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday December 2, 2016 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Avilla with burial at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Michael Schleider will officiate.
