Ruben L Washington

RUBEN L. WASHINGTON, 74 years old of Jacksonville, Ark., passed away on Aug. 29, 2016 at his home. He was born the son of Edgar and Mattie Washington. Ruben was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam Era. Over the course of his 23 year military career he received several medals, badges, ribbons and commendations during his service including the Army of Occupation Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. Following his Illustrious Military Career, He started his own successful telecommunications business, while serving his community as a leader in the small business community and a leader in Religious Community of the San Francisco Bay area. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Maxine Washington. Survivors include his daughter Deborah A. Washington, his son Ruben Washington, Jr., his grandsons Antwan, James, Nathanael Isaiah and Great Grandson Leneil.
