Frances Josephine Sawyer

Frances Josephine Sawyer of Memphis, Tenn. peacefully fell asleep in death on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016. "Mama" was born March 8, 1937 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is survived by three beloved sons and their wives; Bob and Leslie, Memphis, Tenn., Jim and Joyce, Huntington, Ark. and Steve and Trisha, Fayetteville, Ark. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Fran's love touched the life of so many and she will be dearly missed by all. Her kindness, generosity, faith and encouraging spirit endured till the end. Fran was formerly employed by Glenn National Trucking Co. and Luigi's Restaurant in Little Rock, Ark. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark.
