Maxine Kansas Allen

Maxine Kansas Allen, age 90, of Benton, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. She was born October 5, 1926 in Boughton, Arkansas. Mrs. Allen was a seamstress and a member of Traskwood Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clibourn and Beatrice Johnson and husband, Howard Lavon Allen. She is survived by two sons, Harlis Allen & wife Rose Marie and Ross Allen & wife Donna; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 13 at Ashby Funeral Home.
