Donald Gene McGarity

Donald Gene McGarity, 85, of Des Arc, formerly of Brinkley, Ark. passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Don is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joyce McGarity, daughters Collette Kirksey of Little Rock; Desira (Andy) Perry of Sherwood; Angalique McClain of Silver Springs, Florida; Babette McGarity of Little Rock; Donna (Frank) Taylor of Jacksonville; and Terri (Doug) Gross of Des Arc. Don is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. Don is preceded in death by his parents James and Josephine McGarity, son William "Bubba" Clark, and grandson Christopher Gross. Visitation will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Garth Funeral Home chapel with a memorial service immediately following at 11 a.m.
