Randolph Dwayne Yant, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord on October 18, 2016 at the age of 74. Dwayne was a retired service technician for A.M. International where he worked for 40 years. Dwayne graduated from Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1960 and he served in the Arkansas Air National Guard. Dwayne is survived by his son, Preston Yant of Madison, Mississippi; daughter Carla Peagler (Lee) of Brandon, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Dane Peagler (Morgan)of Starkville, Mississippi and Courtney Peagler of Brandon, Mississippi; four sisters, Helen Kokemuller of Conway, Del Simmons of Little Rock, Sandra Reeg and Rue Yount of Greenbrier; two brothers, Erbie Yant and Landon Yant of Greenbrier; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Velva Smith Yant; two brothers, Nathan and Dutch Yant; and a sister, Voneda Rice. Dwayne was an active member of the Greenbrier First United Methodist Church. He was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, watching "B" western movies and football, especially his beloved Razorbacks. His love of music stayed with him throughout his life. He sang and performed with numerous bands from high school until the time of his death. He even wrote and recorded several records. Visitation will be held Saturday October 22, 2016 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Greenbrier First United Methodist Church with the funeral at 1 p.m. at the same location. Burial will follow at Cadron Valley Cemetery in Greenbrier. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
