Margie Fay Carter

Margie Fay Carter, 89, died Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Creekside Nursing Home in Yellville, Ark. with her family by her side. Margie was born September 4, 1927, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Frank and Pairlee Chance. She was a loving wife of 68 years to JZ Carter of Valley Springs. She is survived by her two daughters Darlene (Jim) Methvin of Lead Hill and Vicki (Dale) Reed of Gillett. She has eight grandchildren along with 13 great-grandchildren. She met the love of her life in California. They moved back and forth between California and Texas before moving permanently to Arkansas. She has always been a Texas girl, but claims Arkansas just as proudly! Visitation will be Friday, October 28th from 5-7pm at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, Ark. Services will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 10 a.m. at Coffman Funeral Home. Interment at Silver Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Everton Baptist Church, P.O.
