Ella Mae Conrad

ELLA MAE CONRAD, 102 of Sherwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 27, 2016. She was born to Forrest and Maggie George on Aug. 26, 1914 in Trawick, Texas. Ella Mae was of the Christian faith. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood where she taught Sunday school for many years. She read her bible and prayed daily. She loved sewing, cooking, and gardening. Most of all, she loved her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Conrad; her parents; two sons, Al Agee and Adron Agee (Mattie); three sisters, and four brothers. She is survived by her son, Robert Agee and his wife Donna; half-sister, Aline O'Neal; daughter in law, Hettie Agee; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. The family would like to thank her special friend and neighbor, Barbara Bise, and her caregiver, Judy Martindale, for all of the love and care given to Ella Mae. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 from 6-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Sherwood on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
