T. W. Cooper, 91, formerly of Batesville, Ark., passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016, in Searcy, Ark. He was born March 25, 1925, in Newark, Ark. to the late Ollie Arthur Cooper and Beulah Bray Cooper. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Dean Cooper and four sisters---Roberta Potter, Maxine Gipson, Lorene Ellis and Ruth Burt. T. W. was a faithful Christian man who loved his family dearly. He was a member of the North Heights Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, Windsong Church of Christ and West Side Church of Christ in Searcy, Ark. He was involved in the restaurant industry for a number of years, along with commercial and residential Real Estate and a number of other business adventures. He was an avid tennis player and loved football, baseball, and basketball. He is survived by his wife, Margie Lee Cooper: daughters, Nedra Plumlee (Jack) and Brenda Langston (Ted), along with two step-daughters, Carol Buselle (Eugene) and Cindy Betts (Rick) and loved by his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who knew him as Big Daddy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Searcy Children's Home, P.O. Box 1141, Searcy, Ark. 72143. Funeral Services will be Friday, September 2, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy, Ark.
