Bill F Turner

Bill F. Turner, age 87, of North Little Rock, passed away on September 6th, 2016, at the V.A. Hospital in North Little Rock, Ark. He was born on February 23, 1929, in Rosebud, AR; he was the son of Louis Franklin Turner and Myra Osborne Turner. Bill was a machinist for AT&T for 30 years. He was a member of Sherwood First Church of the Nazarene and was awarded their Distinguished Service Award for a lifetime of selfless duty. He enjoyed working in his shop (building and repairing anything), being outdoors, spending time with his family whom he loved with all his heart and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks football team. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters (Lois Atkinson, Bessie Lynch and Margie Havens) and two brothers (Luther Turner and John Turner). Survivors include his wife, Syble Turner, his daughter, Vickie (Brian) Golden, granddaughter, Megan Golden and grandson, Spencer Golden. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on September 9th, 2016, at Sherwood First Church of the Nazarene in Sherwood, Ark. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Ark. Visitation will be Thursday, September 8th, 2016, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood, Ark.
