Bruce "Scott" Aikman

Bruce "Scott" Aikman was born on February 26, 1960, in Hope, Arkansas, to Bruce Lynn Aikman and Juanita Gilbert Aikman. On the morning of September 10, 2016, at the age of 56, Scott went to be with his Lord, and was united with his dad and his grandparents, all of whom he loved very much. Scott lived in Little Rock and owned Arkansas Organ and Sound. He eventually moved to Bluffton, to be closer to his mother after his dad passed away. Survivors include his mother, Juanita Aikman, of Bluffton, Arkansas; his sister, Lynda West, and her husband, Randal of Waco, Texas; two nephews whom he amused and loved dearly, Lane West of Washington, D.C. and Jamie West of Waco, Texas; his aunt and uncle, Ann and Bill Lewis, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and cousin, Billy Lewis of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father, Bruce; his grandparents, Jim T. Aikman; and Etoil Aikman, his maternal grandparents, Glen Gilbert; and Aloyese Gilbert; his step-grandmother, Winnie Gilbert; and his uncle, John Gilbert. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Bluffton Methodist Church with Rev. Lacey Minnie officiating. Burial will be Bluffton Cemetery.
