Charles Thomas Bunn

Charles Thomas Bunn Sr., age 94, of Searcy, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his home. He was born May 3, 1922 at Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Benjamin Franklin and Olive Mae Bunn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Grace Carter Bunn; one son, Daniel Eugene Bunn; one sister, Geneva Graves; and a granddaughter, Jacqueline Susanne Neely. He is survived by seven daughters and six sons; Charles Thomas Bunn, Jr. (Lottie) of New Albany, Mississippi, Olive Christine Edgell of Houston, Texas, Jerry Franklin Bunn (Sue) of Searcy, Dawn Rozzel (Mark) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Phillip Earl Bunn (JoAnne) of Como, Mississippi, Mary Anita Bunn of Memphis, Tennessee, Frank Alan Bunn (Betty) of Southaven, Mississippi, Nancy Irene Garavelli (Charlie) of Los Angeles, California, Shirley Lynn McDonald of Beebe, Charles Melvin Bunn (Dona) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Paul Curtis Bunn (Holly) of Searcy, Arkansas, Susan Christina Webb (Bobby) of Searcy, Patricia Ann Leibia (Blaine) of Independence, Missouri; 36 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home, Thursday, September 15, from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Foothills Church of Christ, 95 Central Ave. in Searcy.
