June Stafford Grice, 92, of Pine Bluff, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016, at Trinity Village Medical Center. Mrs. Grice was born June 18, 1924, in Roy, New Mexico, to Harry and Delcinda Belle Pederson Stafford. June moved to Little Rock when she was 12 years old to live with her Uncle Bill Pederson and Aunt Madie. She graduated from Central High School and worked for Bell Telephone as an auditor until she retired in 1974. June and her late husband, Morris, whom she married in 1950, moved to Pine Bluff in 1974, after their retirement. Mrs. Grice was a faithful member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church, where her Sunday school class members called her Sunshine because she was always cheerful. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Virgil (Mary) Grice of Pine Bluff; sister-in-law, Kay Vought of Bryant; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Grice. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 15, 2016, 5-7 p.m. at Robinson's. A graveside service will be Friday, September 16, 2016, 10:30 a.m., at Graves Cemetery/Mt. Elba Baptist Church near Kingsland with Reverend Steve Monk officiating.
