Ora Lee Scott

Ora Lee Johnson Scott, 83, of Little Rock, Arkansas transitioned on Friday, September 9, 2016. She was born in Winchester, Arkansas on February 1, 1933 to the late Limmie Johnson Sr. and Letha Montgomery Johnson McCarrell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Scott Jr.; stepfather, Abraham McCarrell; five brothers and two sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories, children, Curtis Harris (Theresa), William Harris Sr., Rhonda Willis, Mildred Willis, Gwendolyn Johnson (Albert, Jr.), Kimberlyn Lewis (Carl, Sr.), Hollis Scott III (Ashley), and Tina Jackson (Broderick, Jr.) all of Little Rock; siblings, Richard McCarrell (Geneva), Maple Lowe (John, Sr.) of Mitchellville, and Willie McCarrell (JoAnne) of Little Rock; 23 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ms. Erica Porter, and Ms. Kim Garlington for taking such great care of our Mother. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016, 11 a.m., at Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Spring Road, Little Rock, Ark.. Interment will follow at Elmlawn Cemetery.
