D'borai Lynn Cook, 65, of Little Rock departed this life September 10, 2016. She was born in Malvern, Ark. to the late Jacob Robinson Jr. and Arthur Jean Westbrook on April 22, 1951. D'borai attended Malvern High School, Class of 1969. She professed her love of Catholicism in 1978. She joined Our Lady of Good Counsel where she passionately served on the finance committee and as Lay Eucharistic Minister. She worked for Baptist Health for 39 years serving the people of Arkansas in a variety of nursing roles. She is preceded in death by her son, Brendan Cook and her mother, father, one brother, and one sister. D'borai will be forever remembered by her loving son, Lynn (Bridget) Burks; two grandsons, Brandon and Braylon Burks; one granddaughter, Jade Benning; her brother, Cornell Robinson; two sisters, Annita Hornsby and Nedra Robinson; one nephew, Gavin Hornsby, and a sister-in-law, Ebony Miller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be noon, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 1321 South Van Buren Street, Little Rock, Ark. Rosary will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2016 with visitation to follow at 7 p.m. both at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501) 224-8300.
