Kayla Yvonne (Ragan) Pothier

Ms. Kayla Yvonne Ragan Pothier, 62, of Conway, Ark. passed away April 8, 2017 after an extended illness. Kayla was born April 18, 1954 in Abilene, Texas to Vernon Leslie and Mildred (Hannah) Mae Ragan. She graduated Abilene High and later with a master's degree in Accounting from Abilene Christian University. At 18 Kayla was a Single Engine Airplane Pilot and a photographer. During the film era, she worked for Keaton Color, a prominent West Texas Icon in the photo development and camera supply industry. She worked as an Accountant for the city of Mansfield, Texas for many years. In recent years, she lived in Arkansas. She enjoyed social media where Kayla was able to stay in touch with her friends across the nation. Kayla displayed her love, faith, patriotism and humor through social media. Kayla was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Albert and Gertrude Ragan of Bearden, Arkansas. She is survived by one sister, Sherry Ragan Haywood of Conway, Arkansas; a nephew, Perry Henry of Morrilton, Arkansas; former husband and great friend, Martin Pothier of Abilene, Texas; and her many special friends that she cherished so much.
