Timothy Jackson Milam

Timothy Jackson Milam, age 64, formerly of Smackover died at his home in Clinton, Ark. on March 24, 2017. He went to school in Smackover and attended college at UALR and earned a degree in architecture from Georgia Tech University. He had worked as an architect and in industrial sales. Tim was a gifted musician and had toured professionally with the Five by Five in his youth. He remained involved with music and playing for his church and continuing to compose songs throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father, R.L. Milam and his mother, Jackie Harris Milam both of Smackover and two brothers; Robert F. Milam of San Antonio, Texas and Ben E. Milam of Houston, Texas. He is survived by one brother; Daniel A. Milam of Hensley, Ark. and one sister; Carol A. Milam of Houston, Texas, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held for Tim on April 5th at the Friendship Baptist Church in Clinton officiated by Pastor Mark Pilkington. His graveside service will be held at Smackover Cemetery on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
