Melessa Elizabeth Shock

Melessa Elizabeth Shock, M.D., 54, of Cabot, passed away on April 20, 2017. She was born in Little Rock on February 28, 1963 to the late Dean Ashcraft and Mary Belle Ashcraft-Anderson. She completed her Bachelor's of Science in Biology at the University of Arkansas in Monticello on May 17th, 1985. She continued with her studies at UAMS and graduated medical school May 19th, 1990. Dr. Shock completed her residency in anesthesiology June 30, 1994. Dr. Shock was an avid Razorback fan, and she enjoyed traveling. She adored her sons, Tyler and Corey, and loved to spend time with her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Curtis Shock; loving sons, Tyler and Corey Shock; cousins, Kim Anderson, Karol Tullis, Marilyn Lewis, Kathy McClellan, and many other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843 – 5816. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
