Mary Frances Hudson

Mary Frances (Francie) Hudson of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away in a Texarkana hospital on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Francie was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 4, 1941 to Harold K. Davis and Mary N. Davis. Francie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Walter Y. Hudson II of Stamps, Ark.; one daughter, Valerie L. Hudson of Little Rock, Ark.; one son, Walter Y. Hudson III and family of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Kathy Thomas and family of Little Rock, Ark.; and a host of friends. Francie attended Hendrix College and was a life-long Methodist. She was very active in church work all of her life. She also sang in the choir for many years. Francie was employed in the office of the family business, Hudson Chevrolet Company for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at Stamps First United Methodist Church on December 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Noggle officiating. Arrangements were made by Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, Ark.
