Alexander "Alec" Powell Reed

ALEXANDER "ALEC" POWELL REED, 18 of Little Rock, passed away Feb. 7, 2017. He was born Sept. 12, 1998 to Steve Reed and Sonja Tanner in North Little Rock, Ark. He loved to hunt, fish, going mudding, camping on the lake, and hanging out with his friends. Alec was preceded in death by his father, Steve Reed; grandparents, Joe Hill, Pat Davis, Rodney and Bernell Tanner. Survived by his loving mother, Sonja Tanner (Jesse Sumler); stepfather, Michael Tanner; four sisters, Jacklyn Remsing (Lukas), Fallon Tanner, Jordan Sherrill (Brad) and Lora Reid (Rusty); two brothers, Michael Tanner II, and Maximus Tanner; grandparents, Bill and Mary Reed; grandmother, Jean Katz and grandma Judy; girlfriend, Elizabeth Scott and her son, Braylon; sissy, Gracie Sumler and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly. A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Visitation on Monday, Feb. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
