John Rison Fordyce, IV (Jack) was born April 18, 1958 in Little Rock, Ark. where he attended Anthony School, Pulaski Heights Elementary, Henderson Junior High, Morris School at Searcy, Webb at Bell Buckle, Tenn., graduating from Parkview High in Little Rock. He attended Southern Arkansas University Tech in Camden. Early on he expressed an interest in music and electronics helping friends install stereo equipment in homes and cars. His first real job was with Arkansas Car Stereos; he learned how to install high tech security equipment, subsequently working for companies such as Concert Productions, Inc. (CPX), and Jimmy Rogers Honeycomb Family Theater in Branson, Mo. Jack rose high in his profession as a sound technician installing and managing sound and lighting systems for large concert and small private venues in Arkansas, Louisiana, and all over the country. For over eight years he was in charge of systems for the Entertainment Center at the Tunica-Biloxi Indian Tribe Paragon Casino Resort. He enjoyed meeting the many musicians who went there. He returned to Hot Springs then Little Rock where he was ill for the past 10 years. He courageously fought hard to live and work to support himself and his son, J.R., in spite of great pain. Many will remember some of his favorite things were music, dogs, Harley Davidson motor cycles, cars, box turtles, concert T shirts, milk, spinach, chicken noodle soup, pumpkin pie, fig newton cookies, and Sprite. He loved and used his cell phone and computers well for business and pleasure. Jack had an acute sense of hearing he perfected to use in his music world. He was a fun loving fellow with a great sense of humor attracting innumerable friends from everywhere. We will all miss him terribly. His family and friends loved him dearly and are glad he is no longer suffering and is at peace in the hands of our God. He is survived by his son John Rison (J.R.)
