Ray Vaughan

RAY VAUGHAN, age 82, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 in Little Rock. He was born Feb. 11, 1935 in Point Cedar, Ark., to John and Dorothy Vaughan. On Nov. 3, 1956 he married Peggy Owens in Point Cedar. Ray was a truck driver for many years until he retired in the 1980's. He was a member of the Phillipi Church of Christ near Bismarck. Ray is survived by his wife, Peggy Vaughan of Little Rock; two sons, Tim Vaughan and Bryan Vaughan, both of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lindsey Erin Vaughan and Megan Taylor; sister, Jewell (Clem) Gottsponer of Maumelle. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at Phillipi Church of Christ near Bismarck. Interment will follow at Phillipi Cemetery.
