Odell Schrayer, 84 year old resident of Kansas, Oklahoma, died February 15, 2017 in Burlington, Kansas. Born January 27, 1933 in Mangum, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Arthur "Ott" Bryan and Mary (Adams) Bryan. Odell married Roy Schrayer on August 30, 1948 in Clayton, New Mexico. They began their life together in Wild Horse, Colorado where they were partners with Elmer & Bertha Mayhan and George & Lucy Schrayer forming the Wild Horse Land and Cattle Company. Odell and Roy then moved to Gentry, Arkansas in 1967 where they owned and operated a poultry farm until 2001. They were active in square dancing as members of the Ark-Oma Whirl-Away Square Dance Club. After retiring they relocated to Kansas, Oklahoma and spent their remaining years together there. Odell was preceded in death by her husband in 2012, her parents, and three brothers: Henry Bryan, Garland Bryan, and Harold Dean Bryan. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Mae DuBose (Bob Rainbolt) of Burlington, Kansas; two sons, Roger Dale Schrayer (Sally) of Lewisville, Texas, and Chuck Wayne Schrayer (Mary) of Trinity, Florida; five grandchildren, Ashley Barraza (Jose), Chad Schrayer (Laura), Bret Schrayer (Stephanie), Aaron Schrayer (Natalie), and Kelly Hanner (Tommy); six great grandchildren, Andrew Schrayer, Ari Barraza, LJ Barraza, Isla Schrayer, Karis Schrayer and Ava Hanner; and one sister, Faye Miller, of Kansas, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Pastor Mike Whorton officiating.
