Vernon Ray "Dustin" Gardner II, 44, of Morrilton, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was born August 12, 1972 in Dardanelle, Arkansas, a son of Vernon Ray Gardner and the late Rebecca Mobley Gardner. He was a former call center tech. He is survived by his father, Vernon Ray Gardner of Portland, Oregon; step mother, Keying Gardner; aunt, Susan (Craig) Faith of Petit Jean Mountain; brothers, Zachariah (Jennifer) Gardner of Dardanelle and Christopher (Alisia) Gardner of Russellville; sisters, Amanda Gardner of Jonesboro and Christina Gardner of Russellville; grandmother, Ida Mobley; step brothers, Freddy (Angelica) Cruz of Portland, Oregon, and NauNau of China; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Gardner; paternal grandmother, Joyce Gardner; and maternal grandfather, James Mobley.
