Melvin P. Mudge

MELVIN P. MUDGE, age 85, of Jacksonville went to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 15, 2017. He was born July 8, 1932 in Casper, WY to the late James and Jessie Mudge. Mr. Mudge served in the United States Navy for 10 years, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of Russell Chapel Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sherma Mudge, his children, Larry Mudge, Michael Mudge, Jackie Simpson, Bill Mudge, step-children, Paula Jackson, James Ellis, Vance Ellis, 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Russell Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Cabot.
