Margot Nelson

Margot Nelson, born June 26, 1935, in Germany, age 81, loving wife, mother, and friend, went home to be with the Lord June 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosa Barth and Friedrich Barth, and her sister, all residents of Germany. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Nelson, of Springdale, her son, John Alden, of Springdale, James Alden of Rogers, her brother, Herbert Barth of Germany; three stepchildren, Tracy Nelson, of Washington, Kenna Nelson of California and Sonya Bernier of Arizona. Margot has ten grandchildren, three of whom are serving their country in the military; and two great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, here and abroad. Memorial Service will be held at Berry Street Baptist Church, Springdale, 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or Shriner's Hospital of America. She was greatly cherished, and will be greatly missed.
