Patsy Lockwood

Mrs. Patsy Lockwood, 80, of Corning, passed away Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Mrs. Lockwood was born Dec. 8, 1936 in Wolf Island, Missouri. She was a retired secretary from the Corning School District. She enjoyed reading, and watching Cardinal baseball and Razorback football and basketball. She was a member of Corning First Baptist Church. She married her husband of 59 years Bob Lockwood on July 6, 1957. He survives, other survivors include three sons, Mark Lockwood of Cabot, Kent (RaeAnn) Lockwood of Stuttgart, and Doug (Rhonda) Lockwood of Mtn. Home; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Effie (Mulholland) Whitehead; daughter-in-law, Leah Lockwood; brother, Wesley Whitehead; three sisters, Kathryn Cavitt, Willena Hutchison and Nancy Ahrent. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, funeral service begins at 2 p.m. with Rev. Josh Raspberry officiating.
