Edwin Harry Riis

Edwin Harry Riis, 92, of Springdale passed away Tuesday, Oct. 03, 2017. He was born April 14, 1925 in Lemmon, S.D., to the late Harry and Judith Bergren Riis. He was also preceded by a son, Randy Riis. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Following a career in the mobile home and motel business, he and his loving wife of 69 years, June Thorpe Riis traveled across the nation in their motorhome. Edwin also enjoyed the outdoors while hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife his survived by two daughters, Judy Bohling (Richard) of Colorado and Sherie Willis (Ed) of St. Louis; three sons, Steve Riis (Debbie) of Wyoming, Edwin Riis (Sheree) of St. Louis and David Riis (Norine) of South Dakota; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and dear friends.
