William Roy Pendleton

William R. Pendleton, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2018. He was born November 26, 1922 to the late William Roy Pendleton Sr and Rebecca Vinsant Pendleton in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Bill was a graduate of Arkansas Tech University. He had a career in finance, retiring from the First Arkansas Bank. He was a US Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Eddy (Wayne) of Little Rock, his granddaughters Rachel Eddy of Ft. Worth, Texas and Karen Cheatham (Jeff) of Dallas, Texas. He is predeceased by his wife, Frances Ray Pendleton, his son, Donald Gene Pendleton and brothers, Bobby Pendleton of Alma, Arkansas and Larry Pendleton of Bixby Oklahoma. A graveside service, with military honors, will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Edwards Funeral home Chapel. Pastor Ray Williams of Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock will officiate.
