Wanda Fern Valentine

Wanda Fern Valentine, of Rison went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born August 17, 1942 in Herbine, Arkansas to the late Elbert and Hazel Crutchfield. She was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, cooking and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Verna Eades, Lanell Willis, Ruby Gatewood, Hazel Vinson, Roberta Shelby, Sammy Doyel and Jimmy Dale. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James "Bud" Valentine, children, Hilda Terry and husband Don of Rison, Sandy Kapales and husband Phil of East End, Carole Valentine of Hot Springs, siblings, Jean Mason, Doris Rice, Gloria Hankins, Ronald Pete Crutchfield, grandchildren, Scott Terry and wife Samantha, Aaron Terry and wife Courtney, Jesselyn Sinkhorn, Corey Kapales, great-grandchildren, Jaden Clevenger and Brayden Terry. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Bro.
