Voters in the Greenbrier School District approved a millage increase to help fund a $15 million construction project, most of which will go toward construction of an elementary school in Springhill. Superintendent Scott Spainhour said students for the new school will be pulled from three elementary schools, particularly Eastside, which has 600 students. The plan is to have 400 students at each school.
