    The Democrat-Gazette's Northwest Arkansas bureau invites area residents to submit engagement, wedding and anniversary announcements, wedding information and photographs for publication in the Northwest Arkansas Profiles section.
    Information must be submitted on a Democrat-Gazette form available for download in printable Portable Documat Format at links below. Forms are also available by fax or mail by calling (479) 770-8476 or by writing to 515 Enterprise Drive, Suite 106, Lowell, AR 72745. Forms may also be picked up at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette office during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
    Publication of these announcements is a free service to our readers, subject to the material meeting the deadlines and qualities described below, as well as to the judgment of the Democrat-Gazette. Deadlines and photographs

1. ENGAGEMENTS: Northwest Arkansas Profiles publishes engagement announcements with or without photographs up to one week before the wedding. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. Thursday, 10 days before publication. Engagements will be published only in the Northwest edition of the Democrat-Gazette.

2. WEDDINGS FOR NORTHWEST ONLY: Wedding announcements will be published up to six weeks after the wedding. Announcements submitted for publication more than six weeks after the wedding will not be published.
    A digital image is preferred however a black-and-white glossy photo of professional quality, at least 5 inches by 7 inches, is also accepted. A glossy color photo may be accepted, but reproduction quality cannot be guaranteed. Snapshots, soft-focus or self-developing pictures are not accepted. Photos of the bride only or the couple are accepted. The photo should be a vertical waist-up shot or a close-up. A full-length photo will not be accepted.
    A photo license agreement must be completed and signed before publication of any photograph. Click here to download a printable PDF version of the agreement to be mailed with the photograph.
    Please write the bride's married and maiden names and address on the back of the photograph. To have a photo returned, include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. The photo may also be picked up at the Bridal Editor's desk after publication. Photos will be kept on file 90 days.

3. WEDDINGS FOR STATEWIDE PUBLICATION: Wedding announcements intended for statewide publication should be submitted at least 17 days before the wedding and should include a photo of only the bride. Announcements submitted more than two weeks after the wedding are not published. NOTE: Items for statewide publication are subject to different deadlines and requirements.
    A black-and-white glossy photo of professional quality, at least 5 inches by 7 inches, is preferred. A glossy color photo may be accepted, but reproduction quality cannot be guaranteed. Snapshots, soft-focus or self-developing pictures are not accepted. The paper prefers that only the bride be in the photograph. The photo should be a vertical waist-up shot or a close-up. A full-length photo will not be accepted.

5. ANNIVERSARIES: Information for 50th and later anniversary announcements may be submitted with or without a photo no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, 10 days before publication. Anniversary announcements will run only in the Northwest edition of the Democrat-Gazette.

PHOTOGRAPHS: Digital images are preferred for publication. Black-and-white or color prints are also acceptable for engagement, wedding and anniversary announcements.
    A Democrat-Gazette photo release form must be signed by the photographer and returned with the photo. Click here to download a printable PDF version of the agreement to be mailed with the photograph.
    Only professional-quality negatives and photos will be accepted. Please write the bride's married and maiden names, address and daytime phone number on the back of the photo. For anniversary announcements, please write the couple's names and address on the back of the photograph. To have a photo returned, include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. After publication, photos may also be picked up during business hours at the Democrat-Gazette office. Photos will be kept on file for 90 days.
