Texas authorities were holding three Arkansas teenagers for questioning Friday night in the killing of a Conway couple, authorities in both states said.
"The three were picked up in Texas and held as runaways, they will be questioned extensively once they are back in Arkansas," Conway police spokesman LaTresha Woodruff said in a news release.
Earlier Friday, a judge held Justin Staton, 14, on capital murder charges in the deaths of Robert and Patricia Cogdell, both 66. Their bodies were found Wednesday near a wooded area outside their home.
