In a national study of ethics rules, campaign donations and state judges, Arkansas received a grade of “F.”
The state had a lot of company: 31 of 39 states that hold judicial elections got the same failing grade, according to the report by the Center for American Progress.
The center graded states on how well they have modernized judicial ethics and campaign finance-reporting rules to address a growing influx of cash into court elections.
