Police identify 2 men injured in Little Rock shooting

Little Rock police have identified two men who were wounded in a Wednesday evening shooting.

Jeremy Dennis, 25, and Darius Scott, 18, were dropped off at Arkansas Children's Hospital with gunshot wounds to their feet around 7 p.m., according to a police report.

The men told police they were at Crump Park, near the intersection of 33rd and Fulton streets, when they heard gunfire and were struck.

Both reportedly arrived at the hospital in stable condition, and their injuries were described as not life-threatening. Dennis was taken to UAMS Medical Center for further treatment.

Police were not able to establish a crime scene, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.

Officers are investigating whether the double shooting is connected to a shooting Tuesday that injured a 17-year-old boy and reportedly happened in the same area, Moore told an Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reporter Wednesday.

No suspects were named and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
